Who Am I?

My name is John-Paul Pagano. I write about politics, culture and intellectual history.

This blog examines history and current events to advance a thesis. Since the Enlightenment, revolutionary politics have crucially relied on anti-Semitism. Today's "New Antisemitism" is both a product and producer of a similarly utopian response to modernity.

I grew up in the Boston area and have been living in Brooklyn for almost a decade now. I also like photography, mom-and-pop ethnic food and down-home die-like-a-dog jazz.
